As kick-off draws closer, Cape Town is abuzz with rugby fever.
The 2022 Rugby World Cup Sevens is around the corner and the fear of missing a game is real. Where to park? What about the road closures? Have you heard about the entertainment lineup? Don't worry, we've got you covered with our handy guide.
Castle Lite, Global Partner and Official Sponsor of the Lite Side of Rugby World Cup 7s is gearing up to create an unforgettable experience for fans from around the world to enjoy through a one-of-a-kind Fan Village.
We're located just next to Cape Town stadium at the Green Point Cricket Club and are open to all fun-loving RWC7's ticket holders over the 3-days.
LIVE MUSIC LINEUP
The excitement in The Mother City is heating up, and Castle Lite has announced a star-studded fan park entertainment line-up to match, featuring Youngsta CPT, Blxckie, Costa Tich alongside hometown favourite, GoodLuck. The four headline acts will be supported by a truly South African mix of live acts, DJ's and entertainers throughout the tournament, from the time the gates open at 10:00 right until gates close, daily.
Each day will feature live performances on the Castle Lite stage, located in the Fan Village. Got your calendars out? Watch out for Youngsta CPT on 9 September at 16:05; Blxchie on 10 September at 17:00; Costa Tich followed by Chrizz Beatz on 11 September at 16:30 and GoodLuck on 11 September.
OUTFITS, TRIES AND TACKLES
Excitement is at a fever pitch, tickets are limited for Saturday and Sunday for the biggest and most pulsating Rugby World Cup Sevens event to hit our shores, and a first for the African continent. You can look forward to plenty of festivities in the village, such as daily dress up and dance competitions taking place on the Castle Lite stage located within the Fan Village.
For all those planning on travelling and attending the games, please note that throughout the duration of the tournament, there will be several road closures around Cape Town Stadium.

WHERE TO PARK?
A park-and-ride service will be in operation on Saturday and Sunday from the locations below offering secure parking and transfer to and from Cape Town Stadium. Tickets are available at R220 per person from the official ticketing website.

- Stellenbosch - Cnr Merriman and Roux
- Table Bay Mall - Berkshire Road
- Somerset Mall - Outside Entrance 3
- Cavendish Square - Warwick Street
- Tyger Valley Shopping Centre - Outside Entrance 3
- Canal Walk / Century City - Century City Blvd (open parking area)
- Grand Parade - Castle Road
- Camps Bay - Main Road open parking area (ocean side)
DEPARTURE TIMES / SHUTTLE TIMES:
City parking - Use of on-street parking in the CBD is available. Please note that the South African Police Service will be out in force for the event, but vehicle security should be considered by drivers. Normal parking rates will apply.
Off-street parking is available at the CTICC, Ryk Tulbagh Square, Picbel Parkade, Plein Park and other City Centre parkades. Normal parking rates apply and there will also be limited free parking at the Civic Centre, to tournament ticket holders only.
STADIUM TRANSFER
The MyCiti bus service will run from the departure points below and is free to tournament ticket holders.
