In the age-old tradition of reading too much into sporting events, the way the Saudi Arabia Grand Prix unfolded in Jeddah felt a little like a beginning and an ending.

The beginning bit refers to teenager Ollie Bearman's star being born after he was pressed into service for Ferrari, following the bout of appendicitis which cruelly halted Carlos Sainz's momentum in a season in which he is desperate to show the Maranello based team that they've made a mistake dropping him for Lewis Hamilton next year.

This may be jumping to illogical conclusions, but the ending part - or, rather, the beginning of the end - is all Red Bull Racing, a team which can't stop winning at the moment but, crucially, also can't stop squabbling internally.
