With nearly 600 000 models of the MINI Clubman having been produced in over a decade, this one-of-a-kind car is ready to take its final bow and say goodbye in style with the Clubman Final Edition.

The first-of-its-kind was designed by Roy Haynes in 1969 and immediately had heads turning with its long wheelbase, extended shooting brake body, and characteristic split doors at the rear - all of which were a first for the MINI brand. The first iteration of the Clubman came in three editions: the Saloon which debuted in 1969; the Estate which debuted a year later and the 1275 GT, a sportier version of the Clubman.

The Rebirth

The Estate version of the Clubman saw a resurrection in 2007, after a more than 25 year hiatus. This new version changed the way we thought of car doors with its barn-door-style boot. This allowed for easy access and loading and a rear-hinged door, only on the passenger side, which added more to its personality.

In 2012 MINI lovers were also treated to a commercial vehicle based on the Clubman, the MINI Clubvan, which had no rear seats and metal panels in place of the rear windows. The loading compartment of the Clubvan was more substantial and had a detachable divider cage.

The last of its kind

MINI will end its production of the Clubman in 2024, but not without saying goodbye in style. The Final Edition of the MINI Clubman will pay its respects to the 1969 classic Clubman with a modern vehicle steeped in tradition. Only 1969 units of the Final Edition will be produced worldwide, paying homage to the launch year of the original Clubman.

"We have taken refinement to its ultimate potential. There’s nothing to add. You have everything you need. Perfect down to the last detail, the refined materials, decorative trims and advanced tech features elevate the MINI Clubman Final Edition’s interior to suit even the most executive of tastes," says MINI.

The MINI Clubman Final Edition is available with a Cooper S engine that produces 141 kW and is powered by a 4-cylinder petrol engine with MINI TwinPower. Fuel Consumption (NEDC combined) 7.1l/100km; Co2-emissions (NEDC combined): 163 g/km

The devil in the details

Everywhere you look on this limited-edition car you’ll find subtle and elegant reminders of 1969. The door sills are decorated with Black/Shimmer Copper Final Edition badging, and the fashionable Velours floor mats, which display your unique, limited-edition badging (1 of 1969), put originality at your feet. These provide a stunning touch of refinement in addition to helping preserve your MINI from the inside out.

The elegant Final Edition signature is displayed on the special, high-gloss side scuttles on the front fender. They serve as a dramatic design highlight and give your MINI an extra dash of uniqueness by subtly disrupting yet continuing the flow of the exterior curves.

The trusted steering wheel is graced by the "Final Edition" emblem. This fits snugly into the elegantly designed and ergonomic Nappa Leather steering wheel to give your interior a self-assured, sporty feel. It adds the ideal concluding flourish to a Final Edition.

The Final Edition is available in three exterior paint colours - Nanuq White, Enigmatic Black and Melting Silver and the offering of a Panoramic Glass Sunroof which floods the cabin with natural light, whilst darkened rear glass ensures privacy for passengers.
