My wheels: Many happy miles with my Mahindras

He has spent well over a million kilometres behind the wheel of many a Mahindra, but Nico Prinsloo from Alberton says he’s far from done.

I bought my current towing vehicle, a 2020 Mahindra Scorpio S10 (4x4) out of the box, and it still has relatively few kilometres on the clock today: 28 000 km. There’s also no cause for complaint when it comes to fuel consumption.

Recently, on a trip to KwaZulu-Natal and back, the worst we got was 16 l/100 km, with 12 l/100 km being the best. I tow Double Trouble, a self-built double-axle caravan. Empty, it weighs 1 460 kg, with a gross vehicle mass of 1 800 kg.
