Binqose said that in another head-on collision, on the R61 between Mthatha and Engcobo, two people died while three others sustained injuries.

“Two male occupants from the VW Polo (driver and rear passenger) died on the scene while the two other passengers in the Polo were rushed to a hospital in Mthatha. The truck driver escaped unharmed,” said Binqose.
