WATCH | From beauty pageants to off-road racing, meet Rwanda's first female rally driver 'Queen'

From co-driver to taking the wheel herself, rookie racer Queen drives her first race in Rwanda's Mountain Gorilla Rally.

Queen Kalimpinya is a young, driven woman who pursues her dreams and goals. She's gone from being in a beauty pageant to a young businesswoman in the local and international clothing industry, to setting her sights on rally driving.

Queen says: "Being a woman in rally was never an obstacle for me. Nothing about me being a woman has ever hindered me."

She's never let anything hold her back, and in doing so, she's become the first female rally driver in Rwanda.
