We've always admired the previous generation Suzuki Swift Sport, it used a high-revving 1.6-litre naturally-aspirated engine, a front-wheel drive layout and slick short throw six-speed manual transmission.
The new Swift Sport, due in South Africa this year, will use a turbocharged engine with around 103kW. The Top Gear team put the new supermini hatch up against a GTI-version of the Up. It only has 84kW... let's see which one is quickest in a drag race.
