The Porsche 911 is one of the world’s greatest sports car. The way it drives, how it performs on the road, and how the package comes together is almost without peer.
Ask any petrol head to name a his or her top ten sports cars, and a Porsche will feature in it. Most likely a 911.
For one Porsche 911 driver in Cape Town, however, a drive in his silver baby took a turn for the worst. The detail around the events are very unclear, but the driver managed to park his car on a pole. A pole!
Clearly distraught by the situation, the driver is seen caught in a war of words with another to his left. Without doubt, the two men are probably blaming each other for what took place.
The Porsche 911 range consists of eleven models in South Africa, and retails for R1.5-million to R2.05-million. A turbocharged 3.0-litre petrol engine powers the range and is available in different states of tune: 283kW – 331kW. Power is sent to either the rear wheels or all four corners.
