After spending a week in the WRX, it's easy to understand why it's one of the best sedans you can buy, writes News24 Motoring contributor Pritesh Ruthun.

I really wanted a Toyota GR Yaris in my garage this year, but the reality is that it just doesn't work as a family car. I need space for kids, their endless cargo, and more than two doors (so that I'm not forced to jump out of the car every time one of the boys needs to get out). 

While the GR Yaris is one of the best-driving cars you can buy right now, and it's worth every penny, it just doesn't work for most people. Sure, the youngsters love it, and it attracts attention if that's your sort of thing, especially if you don't need practicality or a usable boot, but what do the grown-ups do?
