John Williams is an enthusiastic motorcycle collector who has been collecting bikes for more than four decades and has been riding them even longer. Even his late father had a soft spot for two-wheelers. 

Today, somewhere in an industrial estate outside Cape Town, John has been tinkering with motorcycles for the best part of his life.

He has been building his own custom bikes, restoring them, searching for special ones, and knows most other collectors around the country. He even raced, many moons ago, at Killarney Raceway, a track he still regularly visits to support local and international events.
