Ford is ready to showcase its all-new Everest SUV. Set for a global reveal on 1 March 2022, the new SUV will look to put up a renewed challenge for the throne the Toyota Fortuner so comfortably occupies. The new Everest is built on the architectural setup underpinning the 2023 Ranger bakkie.
Confirmed for the 1 March event are Ian Foston, chief platform engineer, and Max Wolff, design director. Both men will share intimate details about the new Everest and explain the thinking behind it. Among the topics to be discussed are the SUV's design, adventure-ready capability, enhanced safety, and an interior that takes on a more premium approach.
Sharing details ahead of the reveal, Wolff said: "Our intention from the beginning was to communicate the capability of next-gen Everest with a modern, strong exterior design. On the interior, we created a sanctuary with premium appointments in which customers could feel relaxed and in control, no matter what was going on outside."
