Last year there was some rather interesting movement in South Africa's highly competitive bakkie space. The refreshed (and now locally built) Nissan Navara, for instance, sauntered onto the scene and immediately climbed the sales charts.
The big-on-value GWM P-Series also made a significant impact, while players such as Mazda's new BT-50 also hit the market, though not with as much sales success.
The year 2022, however, will see the local launch of all-new versions of some of the country's best-selling nameplates (as well as a special variant of the strongest seller of them all). Let's take a look at what we can expect.
