Bakkie bling: Indicative pricing released for Ford's new Ranger Platinum

Double cab bakkies are increasingly blurring the lines between workhorse and upmarket lifestyle vehicles, and Ford's latest Ranger Platinum aims to make that gap almost invisible.

The Ranger Platinum will soon join the Ranger Raptor as Ford's double-sided flagships - each with unique skill sets to ensure no overlap when it goes on sale in Q1 of this year.

"The new Ranger has great all-round capabilities whether used for work or play, along with its car-like driving characteristics and outstanding safety," says Doreen Mashinini, General Manager for Marketing at Ford South Africa.
