FIRST LOOK: Gripping new local drama 'ISONO 'coming to BET Africa

  • BET Africa (DStv 129) has a new original drama titled ISONO (The Sin).
  • The series will air daily from 27 July at 21:30.
  • The star-studded cast include Nthati Moshesh, Rami Chuene, Bohang Moeko, Senzo Radebe and Anga Makubalo.


BET Africa (DStv 129) is gearing up to launch their gripping new original drama, ISONO (The Sin) co-produced with Clive Morris Productions. 

The series will air on the channel from 27 July at 21:30 and features a star-studded local cast which includes Nthati Moshesh and Rami Chuene.

ISONO centres on a dysfunctional family and a heroic son who searches within himself for the strength to stand up against a powerful and evil matriarch who will stop at nothing to serve her own needs

Nthati will play the protagonist and the antihero Mary, a ruthless woman of faith. Rami plays Jumima aka Juju, an eccentric gossipmonger.

To take such an admired art form, celebrated by millions of South Africans and put it on a global platform is an accomplishment we can all be proud of. Senzo Radebe and Bohang Moeko will play smoking young guns who will bring passion, excitement and betrayal into the storyline.

Also joining the cast are Anga Makubalo, Tokollo' TK' Sebothoma and Didintle Khunou.
