Swedish carmaker Volvo's C40 Recharge is unique because it has no internal combustion engine (ICE) counterpart; it is Volvo’s first standalone EV model.

It comes in a twin-motor configuration that is all-wheel drive. It packs in a 75kWh nett usable battery with an estimated 444km range (WLTP figures), and 150kW maximum DC charging speed. It has a total output of 300kW and 600Nm of torque and can go from 0-100km/h in 4.7 seconds. Top speed is capped at 180km/h.
