Xavier said before she set out to buy a new vehicle, there was a list of items that needed to meet the criteria:
"Coming from a much older car (10 years old), I did not have the luxury of Bluetooth, navigation or USB ports. I had a standard vehicle that still had a CD player and an aux point, so my criteria was simple.

• Sit higher up – so an SUV rather than a sedan
• Bluetooth
• Navigation
• Safe and reliable
• Maintenance plan
• Fuel efficient
• Brand new off the showroom floor (first time in my life), and I was not going to compromise
