Lando Norris is one of the McLaren Formula 1 team's drivers, partnering Carlos Sainz Jr. Norris entered F1 at the start of the 2019 season and impressed immensely over the next 18 months.
Norris quickly established himself as an essential part of the team; not only on track but at the factory in Woking, too. His tasks, it seems, are not just restricted to developing the team's F1 cars, but also the road cars.
Recently, Norris and the McLaren team assembled at the Silverstone racetrack in England where the driver was given the task of driving the automaker's newest sports car, called Elva. As the car enters the final stages of testing and development, Norris gave the sports car a quick shakedown for a promo video. Needless to say, it was hilarious!
Watch the video below to see Norris donning his acting gear.
The Elva is the lightest McLaren road car yet and is powered by a 600kW twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 engine. It goes from 0 - 200km/h in an astonishing 6.7 seconds!
