WATCH: Porsche made this epic film about Pikes Peak and it's awesome

The Pikes Peak hillclimb event is one of the world's most dangerous motorsport events, consisting of 156 corners as drivers climb over 3000m as they take on the mountain in Colorado. 

Porsche handpicked eight drivers to compete in the first-ever Cayman GT4 Clubsport class, the list included X-Games legend Travis Pastrana and professional racing driver Mike Skeen. 

Motor Trend says: "The Pike’s Peak International Hill Climb is one of the most famous driving challenges in the world and this year, for the first time ever, eight drivers take on the mountain in a brand new competition class. Featuring Travis Pastrana, CJ Wilson, JR Hildebrand, and Pike’s Peak Legend Jeff Zwart. It’s an all-out race to the summit on Porsche Challenge at Pikes Peak."

It's a beautifully filmed piece that shows how the men can't tame the mountain and that conditions can change rapidly.
