There are cars that are the stuff our petrolhead dreams are made of. For some its a Ferrari Enzo, a Lamborghini Gallardo, or a Porsche 911 GT3 RS. But for many the Bugatti brand represents the ultimate emancipation into the world of adoring automobiles.
So imagine the delight of a few lucky Capetonians who spotted a bevvy of Bugattis from all over the world in the Silo District this past weekend, in the metal. The experience must have been mind blowing.
In a crazy collaboration, a bunch of car lovers are in the process of pulling off an amazing feat right here on our home ground.
When 2fast4you.it (a company who creates exclusive, and prestigious automotive events) approached SA's The Archive and The Dutchman’s Car Care Clinic (a local Supercar fleet management and detailing company) for logistics and maintenance for the Bugatti Reunion Tour, they could hardly believe what was going to unfold and were very excited. We're talking about a few people who take being motoring enthusiasts to the next level.
Not only do they love cars, but they live it too.
2fast4you.it has managed to bring not just one Bugatti hypercar to SA, but six of them, for a private tour of our beautiful country. The cars range from the 'cheapest' being around R35-million up to about R90 million each.
The Archive said in a post on Instagram: "The Archive is proud and privileged to be the official partner on the Bugatti reunion tour 2019!
"Two Veyrons and four Chirons will be gracing our presence over the next 12 days. Keep your eyes peeled, follow our journey and we’ll see you out there South Africa!"
They are also Celebrating the 110-year anniversary of the brand. Because it is a private event, we can't disclose any more information but all we can tell you is to keep your eyes and ears open for these glorious machines.
