• All SUVs are from the Volkswagen Group.

• There are a mix of engines: V8 twin turbo, hybrid and a W12.

• The Porsche Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid makes the most power at 500kW.

Firstly wrap your head around the fact that all the SUVs lined up in this drag race are built on the same Volkswagen Group MLB platform. Yep, the Audi RS Q8, Lamborghini Urus, Bentley Bentayga, and the Porsche Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid are all related.

So what do they all have under their bonnets? It's a rather eclectic set of engines powering these performance SUVs. The Lamborghini, and the Audi, are powered by the 4.0-litre twin turbo V8 engine with 478kW and 441kW respectively.

The Porsche utilises electric power connected to the same V8 engine powering the Audi and Lambo. Zuffenhausen's Cayenne brings 500kW to the table while the Bentley's 6.0-litre W12 engine produces 447kW.

The Porsche is the most powerful SUV in the line-up but it also tips the scales as the heaviest at 2565 kilograms. Not far behind the Porsche is the Bentayga at 2440kg with the RS Q8 2315kg and the Urus at 2199kg.

Only the Audi and Porsche are marketed as a high-performance SUVs in their own right, but the others have a certain pedigree about them.

All four SUVs obviously send their power to all four wheels via automatic gearboxes. First and foremost, they are luxurious cars with lots of toys that obviously adds weight to them.

But it still doesn't take anything away of just how quickly they can scoot off the line. There's only one spoiler: the winner is a VW Group car!

Carwow says: "Get ready for a VW Group SUV drag race!!... Oh, doesn't sound that exciting? Well, you might want to take another look at the line-up - as these are all high-performance SUVs! Lamborghini Urus vs Porsche Cayenne Turbo S vs Bentley Bentayga vs Audi RSQ8"
