England - Police dashcam footage captured moments of a high-speed chase involving an Audi RS6 as the driver attempted to flee by ramming into the back of the police vehicle earlier in August in Birmingham, UK.
The men in the Audi were fleeing the scene of a pizza takeway robbery in Chemsley Wood.
Raiders jailed for almost 30 years
The Birmingham Mail reported that the vehicle was stolen and was eventually recovered. The men were "part of a gang which carried out a string of raids across the region - including using an industrial angle grinder to smash their way into a post office."
The video shows that halfway into the chase, the Audi driver stopped, reversed and rammed into the BMW police vehicle.
Police then attempted the "tactical contact technique" but failed, the Audi driver then smashed into the police car yet again, this time causing the car to stall further on and leaving the car unable to drive any further.
Another police vehicle, a Vauxhall Insignia gave chase to the Audi, but they too were smashed into.
The culprits were later caught and jailed after pleading guilty on September 1 to robbery.
