WATCH: This is what Jeremy Clarkson thinks of the new Top Gear

It's no secret that British TV motoring show Top Gear  hasn't reached the same heights since Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May left the BBC programme in 2016..

Clarkson was a guest on the Jonathan Ross show and shared his views about the latest series of the hit motoring show, commenting that he had nothing nice to say about the his former employers. 

Ross asked Clarkson: "On a scale of one to 10, how thrilled are you that Top Gear is nowhere near as successful now you’re not on it?"

The 59-year-old replied: "James [May] and Richard [Hammond] always wish them all the best," he added. "I don’t."

The broadcaster was booted off the show after a fracas with  producer Oison Tymon in 2015. 

Clarkson, Hammond and May wrapped up the third season of their Amazon Prime-backed motoring show The Grand Tour on April 12.
