As sales slide and profits are wiped out, Aston Martin is banking on its first SUV to drive a turnaround.
The company's first ever SUV, the DBX, will be built in Wales and goes on sale in 2020.
Aston's chief executive Andy Palmer told Reuters earlier in November: "We’re essentially holding the cost of a complete factory right now without the benefit of the revenues coming in... so from that point of view of course it’s a really important model."
The DBX will compete against other luxury SUVs like the Bentley Bentayga and Rolls-Royce Cullinan.
