The A7 might not be a common sight on local roads but in RS trim it is a real pleasure to look at. Flared wheel arches and beefy 21-inch wheels only add to its robust appearance.

Under the hood

A 4.0-litre, twin turbocharged V8 engine is responsible for going fast with a power figure of 441KW and 800Nm. Slap that power onto its famed Quattro all-wheel-drive system and you have a 0-100km/h acceleration of 3.6-seconds.

As you would expect from an RS model, it is race-inspired with the 'RS'' badge found on the steering wheel and digital instrument display.

Audi South Africa says the RS7 Sportback will arrive locally during the second half of 2020.
