WATCH | Planning a braai during lockdown? Here's how much wood you can load in the S-Presso's boot

Earlier in March 2020, Suzuki launched its latest vehicle in the South African market.

Called the S-Presso, the little city car has its work cut out if it wants to topple the segment leader, the Renault Kwid.

While there are numerous aspects the S-Presso needs to address, one of it has to be practicality. Or more specifically in this case, boot space.

Got wood?

See, the S-Presso is a rather compact vehicle. But depending on your personal needs and purposes, you want the S-Presso to answer your burning questions. In this instance, I needed to find out how much wood the Suzuki could stack in its boot.

Why? Because I love to braai!

The S-Presso's boot can be opened in two ways: either with the key, or via the lever just under the driver's seat. Once open, you have 239 litres of boot space to your disposal, but you can also fold the rear bench forward to increase the cargo space. Unfortunately, the boot cover does not have ropes to lift it as the fifth door opens, so users have to do it manually. 

So, how much wood could I stack? At least 57kg! That should keep me going throughout lockdown.
