This was a telling statement by the Group because it highlighted their intent on garnering healthy interest in a sport they keep so dear. One of the members, Tommie Beirowski, went on video and explained why drifting is so dear to him. Speaking on the subject, Beirowski says that although they are a bunch of crazy guys from the Western Cape, he just wants to see drifting go forward in South Africa.

Beirowski says that no two experience behind the wheel of a drift car is the same, and that is one of the things that keep bringing him back to the track.
He notes: "The feeling you get when you get into a drift car… every time it's a different experience. But I like it because you keep on pushing the limit. And there is never an end to the limit."
