The South African National Rally Championship (NRC) takes place this weekend in Delmas, Mpumalanga.
The Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR) team is looking to build on their early success this season after taking wins at the season-opening double-header. This coming weekend will see another double-header, with TGR's Guy Botterill and navigator Simon Vacy-Lyle looking to extend their lead.
Since tasting victory at the opening-rounds at Lake Umuzi Rally in September, the duo has further refined their Class R4 Toyota Etios ahead of the upcoming race.

Strict protocols
Botterill says: "Besides the work we've done on the car, we're also becoming more familiar with it. We're still getting used to driving a powerful four-wheel-drive rally car, after many years in the front-wheel-drive S1600. But we're making progress, and hope to be significantly faster this weekend."
The NTT Toyota Delmas Rally gets underway with Round 3 of the championship on Friday, 16 October. This one-day round of the series features six stages, divided into three sections, with a total stage distance of 95km. This will be followed by Round 4 of the championship on Saturday, featuring six more stages, and a total stage distance of 88km.
The NTT Toyota Delmas Rally will run under strict Covid-19 protocols as set out by Motorsport South Africa. No spectators will be allowed to attend the event but can do so via the NRC's online platforms.
