New York - The opening car chase scene of Baby Driver, starring Ansel Elgort is choreographed to the song 'Bellbottoms' by the The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion.
The film is set in Atlanta, Georgia and director Edgar Wright and his team carefully mapped out the scene, according to US publication Vox.
Channel24's editor Herman Eloff said in his review: "Baby Driver amps up the game while saying 'f*** you' to CGI and over-the-top car flicks that feel like recycled plastic copies."
And that's what makes the opening scene of Baby Driver so exciting, stunt driver Jeremy Fry performed every stunt and Wright managed to produce a slick film.
A Subaru Impreza WRX STI is used in the first heist, 'where everything goes right', Fry told Carbuzz.
Wheels24's Sean Parker says: "I purely saw Baby Driver for the stunts and cars. And though I loved the opening scene and thought Fry did an amazing job. I was left disappointed by the lack of 'exciting cars' used in the other scenes."
