Cape Town - The Grand Tour is gaining traction faster than Tesla’s new P100D Model S and now a new bombshell has dropped - host Jeremy Clarkson is headed for Westeros!
For those unfamiliar with TV series, Westeros is the famous kingdom featured in the hugely popular show, Game of Thrones.
Going to Westeros
The Grand Tour, reports Digital Spy, is set to feature in Westeros, with Clarkson driving through the popular show’s set for the highly-anticipated new motoring show.

Clarkson, along with Richard Hammond and James May, left Top Gear in 2015 after Clarkson’s infamous punch-up with one of the show’s producers. After months of speculation on what the trio will do next, it was confirmed that they had signed a three-year deal with Amazon Prime for a motoring show of 12 episodes per season.
Digital Spy reports that the majority of the show has been filmed.
Clarkson, driving an Alfa Romeo 4C cabriolet, tweeted an image hinting at his apparent pitstop near the Queen of Dragon'.
Ridiculous budget
Rumours recently started circulation that the cost of one episode is in the region of $4.5-million, but Andy Wilman, one the The Grand Tour’s producers, squashed the news as “bollocks”.
Clarkson and co. filmed the first episode of their new series in Johannesburg, South Africa, inside a big tent. Their concept is to film each episode in a different part of the world, taking and bringing the show to their legions of fans. Hence the name: The Grand Tour.
