Cape Town - A Reddit user stumbled upon a cool fact, his thread, titled: "Useless but crazy stat: first Indycar, FormulaE, WRC and F1 race of the current seasons all won by Sebastian or Sebastien."
You're probably thinking, surely not? The opening race of the four motorsport disciplines were all won by a man with the same name, albeit different spelling.

Let's break it down:
IndyCar - Sebastian Bourdais (Dayle Coyne Racing) won the 2017 Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg. The Frenchman's victory was made sweeter because he started last on the grid after failing to qualify because of an accident.
Fomula E - Sébastien Buemi (Renault E.Dams) won the 2017 Buenos Aires Grand Prix. Séb started from P3 and maintained position at the start. Buemi made his way into P1 ahead of the car swap pit stop.
World Rally Championship - Sébastien Ogier won the 2017 Monte Carlo Rally in his first race with Ford.
The Frenchman, who moved to Ford after Volkswagen announced their shock exit from the competition in November, finished over two minutes clear of Finland's Jari-Matti Latvala with Estonian Ott Tanak third.
Formula 1 - Sebastian Vettel (Ferrari) won the season-opening 2017 Australian Grand Prix beating the Mercedes duo of Lewis Hamilton and Valterri Bottas.
Loeb could make it five
The Reddit user 'Jaapgrolleman', also pointed out that the four drivers are either former or currently backed by Red Bull Racing.
Wait, there's more! A fifth Sébastien (Loeb) could make it five Seb wins in 2017 if he is victorious in Barcelona at the season-opening World RallyCross event this weekend.
