Cape Town - MotoGP rider Marc Marquez shows exactly why he is the reigning world champion as he demonstrates his skills in the toughest conditions for bike - heavy snow.
With spikes fitted to his tyres, the Repsol Honda rider tackles the unfamiliar surface in spectacular fashion.
Heavy bike, heavy conditions
The snow seemed to be a daring challenge for the champ. Despite his bike weighing 160kg, Marquez proved to be fearless in the icy conditions.
Marquez said: “If there is a minimum possibility, I will go.”

The ice seemed to be good for wheelies but dense for turning.
The reigning MotoGP champion will be seeking to add another world championship to his name this year when the 2017 MotoGP season kicks off at the Losail Circuit in Qatar on March 26.
Marquez will once again be paired with Dani Pedrosa, whom he's been team mates with since 2013.
