Former president Jacob Zuma's controversial ties with the Belarus African Foreign Trade Association (Bafta) have deepened with the introduction of Duross Gasperi, a New Zealander known for his racially charged comments and claims of white genocide in South Africa.
Gasperi, also known as Hiraoka Gasperi, positions himself as a human rights defender, but has consistently made racist remarks on social media and in interviews.
He also claims to have submitted more than 100 complaints to various institutions globally on corruption in South Africa, hate speech against white people, and white genocide.
