London - Ever wondered where automakers derive inspiration for vehicle names? For example - Maserati named its cars after strong winds. 

Some automakers use Greek mythology as the basis for car monikers. The guys at amgautolease.co.uk created a  handy infographic to find out whether model names and Greek gods are a good match.

Of Gods and cars 

It's about cars that are named after Greek and Roman goddesses and gods, and whether they're cool enough to deserve sharing the name. (Hint: the Gumbert Apollo is, the Ford Taurus is not).

The Volkswagen Eos will be familiar to local readers, it was sold in South Africa many years ago.
